Year-Round Swim Lessons!

We offer swim lessons once a week for one half hour. Our classes are small, no more than four students per instructor. Classes are currently held Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 6:30, and Saturday mornings from 9 to 12.We invite you to bring your child in for a free initial evaluation, which insures placement in the correct class level (see below). Baby and Me A safe and fun class for babies 6 to 35 months (and a parent or caregiver) with little or no water skill. We work on kicking, bubble blowing, and submerging underwater. Your baby learns floating, 8- to 10-second breath control, and pool safety while enjoying songs and games.
Aquababy For babies and toddles who completed Baby and Me and who can swim three feet. Our goal is to swim seven feet and begin independent breathing. Swimmers must be mature enough to sit on the side of the pool and wait their turn.
Aquatike 1 For three-year-olds with little or no water skill. We work on assisted breathing and straight-leg kicking while enjoying fun themes and games. Our goal is to swim five feet, gain comfort in the water, and introduce safety skills.
Aquatike 2 For three-year-olds who can swim five feet. We work on assisted breathing, windmill arms, and straight-leg kicking while enjoying fun themes and games. Our goal is to swim ten feet, and we work toward swimming without fins.
Aquatike 3 For three-year-olds who can swim ten feet. We work on independent and rollover breathing, windmill arms, and straight-leg kicking while enjoying fun themes and games. Our goal is to swim twenty feet with assisted breathing.
Preschool Beginner For four- and five-year-olds with little or no water skill. We work on breath control and straight-leg kicking while enjoying fun themes and games. Our goal is to swim ten feet, gain comfort in the water, and introduce safety skills.
Advanced Preschool Beginner For four- and five-year-olds who can swim ten feet. We work on breath control, windmill arms, and straight-leg kicking while enjoying fun themes and games. Our goal is to swim twenty feet with assisted breathing, and we work toward swimming without fins.
Beginner 1 For children ages six and above with little or no water skill. We work on floating, windmill arms, and straight-leg kicking. Our goal is to swim twenty feet with assisted breathing and introduce safety skills.
Beginner 2 For children who can swim twenty feet with assisted breathing. We work on independent front breathing and kneeling dives. Our goal is to swim forty feet, and we work toward swimming without fins.
Beginner 3 For children who can swim forty feet with several independent breaths. We work on stroke technique, standing dives, and independent rollover breathing. Our goal is to swim forty feet with independent and rollover breathing. Swimmers do not use fins at this level.
Intermediate 1 For children who can swim forty feet with independent rollover breathing. We work on surface dives and unilateral breathing. Our goal is to swim 75 feet with unilateral breathing. Swimmers do not use fins.
Intermediate 2 For children who can swim 75 feet. We work on freestyle stroke technique, elementary backstroke, and treading water. Our goal is to swim freestyle 100 feet with unilateral breathing and to swim elementary backstroke 100 feet. Swimmers do not use fins.
Advanced 1 For children who can swim freestyle 100 feet with unilateral breathing and swim elementary backstroke 100 feet. We work on bilateral breathing, breaststroke, and backstroke. Our goal is to swim 200 feet freestyle with bilateral breathing and swim 100 feet backstroke and breaststroke. Swimmers do not use fins.
Advanced 2 For children who can swim competitive freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke. Our goals are to perfect competitive strokes, learn to swim butterfly 100 feet, and increase endurance. Swimmers do not use fins.
